These are some studies from some of my fav shows, whilst my portfolio is still growing- I think these studies help show my voice, skills and provide some flavour until my portfolio is a bit beefier! All designs are studied or based on backgrounds or are direct studies from different shows (all credited in the captions) and I claim no ownership over any of the designs/ ideas etc. There are no direct copies as I usually changed the colours/ time of day/ added characters etc. because I actually used these as style studies to try figure out my own style and the difference between the original and mine helped me find it!
A study of Marceline's House from Adventure Time. I changed the colours and shading a lot so it really helped with how I show environment, this also spurred a love/ hate relationship with the combination of purple and green.

Finn and Jake's tree house from Adventure Time. I made the colours of the sky more saturated but the treehouse less saturated and added my favorite, some dramatic shadows.
I used a really weird brush to get the painty texture in the clouds and mountains. This is from Steven Universe and the colours were not eyedropped but I was studying the colours so they're pretty close !
From 'Steven and the Stevens' (S1 EP22). I made the it darker and used more straight black than the original.
